Take two

I had such great intentions on blogging every day and clearly that is just not happening. I have been in such a funk lately. I had a total break down last week but I have dealt with it and am feeling better.

So quick update. IUI # =BFN. We celebrated our 2nd anniversary the day of my beta. I was expecting it after I had tested the day before (mothers day) and I had gotten all of the crying out of my system. Brian saw the urologist. She seems to think that we will ultimately need IVF but put Brian on 30 days of anitbiotics. I saw my RE and he agreed with her plan and told us to sit this cycle out. So I went back on a diet. I am giving Medifast a try but I am facing lots of temptation and have little will power right now. I did not ovulate during this unmedicated cycle (no big surprise there). So I am back on Prometrium. Brian will have another repeat SA and if his number have improved we will proceed with IUI #2. If his numbers don't improve I think we need to seriously discuss moving on to IVF. The IUI plan this cycle is to increase my clomid to 100mg and put me on progesterone for a possible LPD. Also we may also trigger this time.

I stumbled upon a great book blog today and hope that inspires me to get out of my reading slump. We are going to the beach Wednesday night. I am so excited to be getting away for a few days!!

Crispy Critter

Ugh I am so burnt! I missed the spot right on the front of my should down to my armpit. It hurts soooo much!
Got good new from my RE today. My progesterone level was greater then 12 suggesting I did ovulate this cycle!! I go for a beta on 5/11 the day after our 2 year anniversary. I think I will POAS before then though.

I feel Summer creeping in...

What a great weekend!!! Yesterday morning I took Raven yard saleing with me. I found a fiber glass dock box that retails for $400 for $125!! Then I went to the North Point flea market to pick up our decal for the boat. 2 1/2 hrs later I finally had it!!!! I was so annoyed that it took so long. The boat was launched yesterday afternoon! I am so excited to go on the first boat ride of the season soon. Brian didn't have any problems with it but we didn't go anywhere this weekend. Barry helped him replace an engine plug yesterday, and then the oil today. Wendy and I hung out on their boat catching some sun and cleaned a little today. We had a nice cook out last night and just noshed on the party pier today.

I can't believe it was pushin 90 degress this weekend!! Its crazy! I am so ready for summer though! Its going to be a good one.
